THE TEAM BEHIND FLORAL ARCHITECTURE

Floral Architecture began in 2017, starting out in a small studio in Collingwood. Since then, the studio has evolved, but our love of flowers, creativity and creating beautiful things has remained at its heart.

Today, we are a Melbourne floral design studio creating flowers for weddings, events and celebrations across Melbourne and Victoria.

We love working with seasonal flowers and foliage and allowing their natural character to guide the design. Texture, movement, colour and shape all play a part, and we aren't afraid of flowers being a little wild, unexpected or imperfect.

We take a personal, hands-on approach to our work. Every couple, client and space is different, and we enjoy taking the time to understand what makes each celebration unique before creating the flowers around it.

THE FLORAL ARCHITECTURE APPROACH

A big part of our creative philosophy comes from Wabi-Sabi — the appreciation of beauty in things that are imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.

We love flowers for exactly this reason. No two stems are quite the same, seasons change, foliage moves and flowers open and evolve. Rather than trying to make everything uniform, we embrace those natural differences and allow them to become part of the design.

Our style is natural, wild and considered, with an emphasis on seasonal flowers, foliage, texture and movement.
