TERMS & CONDITIONS 

OUR PROCESS

  1. Client enquiry through website.

  2. Consultation form sent to client for completion and return to Floral Architecture.

  3. An initial quote is created based on the information supplied by the client in the consultation form.

  4. A obligation free phone consultation is organised with our Floral Designer to further tailor the quote to your budget and vision.

  5. Edits can be requested and made to the updated quote.

  6. Deposit payment is made to confirm our services and pre-wedding chat is booked in for 6 weeks out from your wedding date.

  7. Pre-wedding chat to revisit quote 6 weeks out from wedding date, make any edits and confirm details.

  8. Balance payment is due 4 weeks out from your wedding date.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Your booking is confirmed in our calendar once a 30% non-refundable deposit has been paid. At this time we will schedule a pre-wedding chat will be scheduled for 6 weeks out from your wedding date.
We do not accept tentative bookings. Due to the nature of the industry, we are unable to hold dates after the 30 day review period.
We can provide you with our current availability, which is only accurate at the time given.
After the pre-wedding chat, a balance invoice will be sent for payment . The balance is due one calendar month prior to your wedding date. If this falls on a weekend / public holiday, it will be due on the business day prior.
A payment plan can be set up at your request. Payment is required by direct bank transfer or PayPal.

SUBSTITUTION

We work within your chosen colour palette, style and theme, rather than specific flowers. We use the freshest seasonal, locally grown flowers available. If you have a specific floral requirement, we will do our best to source it.
Mother nature is fickle, and from time to time we are unable to supply the flowers we have quoted you or you have requested. In this instance, you will be notified, and a suitable flower will be substituted. We ask you to trust our knowledge and experience when making these substitutions, though you always have the final approval.

PRICE CHANGES

Due to the nature of the flower industry and the state of the world at present, we are seeing an increase in the price of flowers both locally and imported. If you book your wedding more than 6 months out, we may need to revisit the prices quoted during your pre wedding chat. We will honour the quote provided, however if we can not create the same vision as was originally quoted for the budget, we will advise you of any additional costs and give you the option as to how you would like to proceed.

WEDDING CANCELLATIONS

The non-refundable deposit of 30% will be retained if booking is cancelled.
Change to wedding date must be notified at least three calendar months prior to your wedding and is subject to our availability. New date must fall within 12 calendar months of original date booked. Prices may vary due to change in seasonal availability.
Cancellations within one month of wedding date remain payable in full.

VARYING AN ORDER

Any changes to your floral design contract must be made one calendar month prior to your wedding date. Changes made any closer than one calendar month are at our discretion. We will endeavour to accommodate any last-minute changes; however, this is dependent on availability, suppliers, lead times, etc.
No more than 15% reduction in the total design quote is allowed prior to one calendar month before the wedding. Any greater than 15% reduction in the final design quote will be charged accordingly.
Any deletions made less than one calendar month from the wedding date will be charged in full.

DELIVERY

All venue contact details and bump in times will be confirmed 1 week prior to your wedding.
It is your responsibility to ensure we have all correct venue contact details and you have confirmed correct bump in times with the venue managers to ensure we have ample time to set up.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

We ask our clients to give permission to their professional photographer to supply Floral Architecture with professional photographs of our work from your wedding day.
Any photos provided to us, by you, your photographer or wedding guests will only be used with permission from the relevant party. We will credit all suppliers when using photos on our social media and website.
We take no responsibility for any unlawful use of photographs that are taken from our social media and website without our approval.

HIRE

All hire items & terms and conditions will be clearly stated on your quote.
A damage waiver will be charged on all design quotes for hire items, which includes normal wear and tear.
Any broken or lost hire items will be charged at the full recommended retail price (RRP). This will be outlined to you in an invoice, in the event of lost or broken items.
Hire items that are to be returned by the client must be returned within three working days of your wedding, unless otherwise agreed. If not returned within the guideline, the hire items will be charged at the full RRP.

PRIVACY POLICY

Floral architecture respects the privacy of you, our client. We comply with the national privacy principles (privacy amendment (private sector) act 2000).

  1. We do not sell or lease personal customer information to third parties. We will only provide details to freelancers and couriers who work on behalf of Floral Architecture, in order to provide our service.

  2. We will ask you to provide personal contact details, addresses and payment details when needed.

  3. FloralArchitecture takes all reasonable steps to protect the personal information we gather from loss, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or any misuse.

DATABASE

We will keep your personal details on file for our own use in regard to your wedding. We may contact you from time to time in relation to events / points of interest we see to be of relevance to you. We respect your right to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
We will never sell / give your personal information to a third party.

OTHER

We do not work on events with other florists unless we have been asked prior to confirmation of booking and have given our written approval.

By proceeding with our quote, you agree to our Terms and Conditions as stated above.
